Review on Rimmel London Stay Matte Primer and Foundation

Last night, I finally bought Stay Matte Primer and Foundation by Rimmel. I had to. I have been wanting to try it since I first saw it some time around Christmas. I saw it was on sale 50% off this week at Walgreens (that Balance Rewards card is really useful!). I thought I'd give it a try and let you all know how it went.

So, I got the Stay Matte Primer in 003. It comes out white, but dries clear. It says you can use it alone, under or over makeup. I used it first, after my moisturizer, of course. It's pretty thick, at first, it seems like it's going to very sticky, or silicone. It's neither. It's very smooth, creamy. It blends very easily, although, I feel like I had to use more than I usually would with my regular primer. But that's okay. It doesn't feel suffocating at all. I actually really like it!

The Stay Matte foundation says it's liquid mousse. It claims to be lightweight, and has shine control. I am 200, soft beige. I agree with everything it claims! It blends very easily. I usually have to layer on my foundation, but I feel like this gives good coverage. Again, I feel like I had to use more foundation than I usually would. But it was not cakey or suffocating at all. I like this foundation!

Here I only have the primer and foundation on. I had not set it yet, and I feel like it was still very mattified. Which is fantastic! I think I may just be adding this to my daily routine :)
